– The Oosterschelde has been sailing for as week towards Rapa Nui (known to many as Eastern Island), since it left the Galapgos.
– We’ll have a live uplink from the ship and catch up with researcher Grant and camera operator Josh.
– We’ll meet Jut Wynne, a cave biologist who will be joining the ship it Rapa Nui. He’ll be exploring caves on Rapa Nui, Pitcairn and Mangareva, with a little bit of luck, he may discover some new species of invertebrates living in the caves. Jut has explored caves all over the world, discovered new species and has even worked with NASA on projects to discover caves on other planets and robots that can explore them!
– A special lesson about the Eddystone Reef from the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth.
